Content Filters in Welov let you segment posts using words, hashtags or URLs, helping you evaluate specific themes across your profiles and those of your competitors. This is ideal for spotting trends, understanding the performance of key topics, and refining your content strategy.
💡 What can be filtered?
Filters apply only to the original text or caption of the post or story. That includes keywords, hashtags, and any URL mentioned. They don’t detect edited texts or elements like story stickers. If the term isn’t in the original written text, it won’t be picked up.
✅ How to create Content Filters step by step
Access the project you wish to work on.
Click on the “+” button in the top right corner and select “Content filter”.
Set up your filter:
Add a title to help you identify it later.
Select social media profiles to include. You can choose from your own profiles or any competitor profiles connected to your project.
Define your filter terms
Use words, hashtags or URLs that appear in the post description. You can combine the following fields:
All – only includes posts that contain all the terms listed.
Any – includes posts that contain at least one of the terms.
None – excludes posts that contain any of the listed terms.
Want to explore freely? You can also leave all fields blank to discover which content pillars have been published, without applying filters.
Choose a date range for the analysis.
Click “Save” to apply the filter and preview your results.
🧠 Final step: analyse the results
Once your Content Filter is saved, the system needs time to process and load the data. After this, you can:
Review how posts linked to a specific content pillar are performing.
Compare engagement and trends across different brands or profiles.
Identify opportunities backed by real, filtered data.
You can also combine filters with other Welov features:
Create Content Views to explore performance with Insights IA.
Add the filter to a Dashboard for ongoing tracking.
Include it in a Report, such as our content analytics template, to showcase top-performing pillars.
