What each feature is meant for? 🤔

Content Analytics and Social Listening can both be helpful for analysing specific content. But they're actually meant for different things.

Content Analytics:

  • Detect relevant topics published on a brand's and/or sector's social networks.

  • Measure the impact of campaigns and/or product launches.

  • Analyze the performance of collaborations (Branded Content).

  • Compare the success of content strategies.

Social Listening:

  • Discover how many times a hashtag has been used in posts and the number of interactions obtained.

  • Analyze posts using the hashtag to:

    • Gauge general user opinion on Instagram about a hashtag.

    • Identify how users discuss a specific topic.

    • Improve and protect your brand's online reputation.

    • Find influencers relevant to your sector.

Which social networks does each feature work with? 🛠️

Content Analytics can access and filter posts exclusively from profiles previously connected to Welov.

  • Your own profiles: Facebook, Instagram Business, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X/Twitter.

  • Competitor profiles: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X/Twitter.

Social Listening: Searches for posts containing a specific hashtag across the entire Instagram network, from any user/profile.

What search terms can you use? 🔤

Content Analytics: Allows searching by words, hashtags, and/or URL fragments, enabling multiple terms to refine results.

Social Listening: Supports only one hashtag per search.

Retrievable data history 📈

Content Analytics can recover older posts as long as they fall within the contracted storage limit. For example, if your account stores data from the last 6 months, only posts from that period will be included.

Social Listening: Due to API limitations, Social Listening can only recover data from the last 24 hours since the creation of the search.

Can I edit a filter and/or a search after creating them? ✏️

Content Analytics: Filters are fully editable at any time with no restrictions on the number of modifications.

Social Listening: Editing is limited to the time range and number of mentions; other parameters cannot be modified once the search is created.

Consumption ♻️

Content Analytics:: It does not generate specific consumption. You can create as many filters as you want without restrictions.

Social Listening: Each time the hashtag is used in a post, it is recorded as a consumed mention. When configuring a search, you must set a limit of mentions.

💡The maximum number of mentions available in your account depends on your contracted plan. You can check it whenever you want by going to Consumption > Social Listening or clicking here.
