Welov offers various user roles to control access levels and permissible actions within the platform. Below are the five available roles, listed from the highest to the lowest level of permissions:

πŸ‘‘ Owner role

This is a unique role; only one person or email can hold it within the account. The Owner is primarily responsible for managing Welov.

  • This role receives all reports and notifications.

  • Assignment of this role is handled by Welov's support team upon the client's request.

  • If the Owner leaves the company or wishes to transfer the role, they must contact support to assign it to someone else.

πŸ”§ Administrator role

Recommended for individuals overseeing all projects within the account.

  • Multiple administrators can exist within an account.

  • They have full access to add, view, edit, and delete any project.

  • They can manage new user access.

πŸ› οΈ Member+ role

Ideal for managers responsible for initiating new projects.

  • Can add, view, edit, and delete dashboards, reports, and strategies in assigned projects.

  • Have the ability to create new projects.

πŸ‘€ Member role

Suitable for account managers and community managers working on specific projects.

  • Can add, view, edit, and delete dashboards, reports, and strategies in assigned projects.

  • Cannot create or archive projects.

πŸ‘€ Guest role

Commonly used to provide clients or executives with data access without editing capabilities.

  • Can view existing dashboards and adjust their time range.

  • Can generate and download pre-existing reports.

  • Cannot modify dashboards or reports.

  • Access to dashboards is determined by higher-level roles.

  • Commonly used to provide clients or executives with data access without editing capabilities.

πŸ”‘ Assigning projects to users

After adding a new user with the Member+, Member, or Guest role, you need to assign them access to the appropriate projects:

  1. Add the new user.

  2. In the top menu, select "Users" or go directly to this link.

  3. Find the user in the list.

  4. Click on "Projects with access".

  5. Select the projects you wish to grant them access to.
