Reconnect profiles in Welov

Learn how to identify and reconnect disconnected data sources to keep your metrics up to date

If you notice that some data isn't updating or is missing, a data source might be disconnected. Reconnect it promptly to avoid data loss.

✅ How to reconnect a profile step by step

  1. Go to the «Installed Applications» section.

  2. Check the status of applications:

    • Green: Connected and functioning properly.

    • Red: Disconnected; needs reconnection.

  3. Click on "Reconnect" or "Connect in Metricool" (for X/Twitter profiles).

  4. Follow the specific instructions for the corresponding social network and reauthorize access.​

  5. Repeat the process for each disconnected profile.

🔔 Disconnection alerts

Welov will notify you when a profile is disconnected:

  • In-app notification: A red alert will appear. Click on "Go to applications settings" and follow the steps to reconnect.

  • Email: Users with Owner and Administrator roles will receive an email with the subject "An error occurred while fetching data from [Data source name] - [Profile name]". Click on "Reconnect" and follow the instructions. If the source isn't reconnected, a weekly reminder email will be sent.

⚠️ What happens if you don't reconnect a social profile?

The source will stop collecting data, and it won't appear in the tool. Depending on the disconnection duration and data history, you might lose unrecoverable information.
