Whether you've just created a new dashboard or wish to add new metrics to an existing one, familiarising yourself with the "Add KPI" menu will enable you to quickly locate and configure the metrics you need.

🧰 "Add KPI" menu

When accessing this menu from any dashboard, you'll find three main columns:

  1. Left column: Select the data source.

  2. Central column: Choose the available metrics (KPIs).

  3. Right column: Configure the selected metrics (if applicable).

⬅️ Left column: data sources

Here, you can select the data source from which you want to extract metrics. Options include:

  • Content Filters

  • Social Listening

  • Goals

  • Social media profiles (only categories of profiles installed in the project will appear)

Additionally, you'll find customisable KPIs such as:

  • Special KPIs: Allow summing or averaging data from different profiles.

  • Ranking Benchmark: Comparative metrics to analyse your performance against competitors.

📊 Central column: metric selection

Once the data source is selected, the central column will display the available metrics. To add them to the dashboard, just click on the desired metrics. Once done, press the "Done and Save" button.

Tips to facilitate selection:

  • Search bar: Type the first letters of the KPI to locate it quickly.

  • Descriptions: Hover over the question mark icon to see a brief description of the metric.

  • Categories: Metrics are grouped by categories, making them easier to identify.

➡️ Right column: advanced configuration

In this section, you can configure metrics that require it, such as:

  • Special KPIs: Allow summing or averaging data from different profiles.

  • Ranking Benchmark: Compare your brand's performance with that of competitors.

  • Metrics with dimensions: Metrics containing sub-metrics, allowing for more detailed analysis.

When selecting a metric with dimensions, you can individually choose the sub-metrics you wish to display on your dashboard.

🧠 Final step: customise and analyse

Once metrics are added and configured, your dashboard will be ready to provide a clear and detailed view of your data. Remember, you can rearrange metrics according to your preferences and analytical needs.

💡 Useful tips

  • Organisation: Use descriptive names for your dashboards to facilitate identification.

  • Templates: If you frequently create dashboards, consider creating templates to streamline the process.

  • Nesting: Nest related dashboards to maintain an organised structure.
