📌 In Welov, you can link your X (Twitter) accounts (with credentials) as well as competitor profiles (without credentials).
How do I connect X (Twitter) accounts? 🔌
Access the project in which you want to connect the profiles or create a new one.
Click on the + button on the right side of the top menu and select Data Source or go to the Integrations section of the vertical menu.
Select “Twitter” and enter your username and password.
Go to Installed applications and locate the X account in the list.
Click on the “Connect to Metricool” button (our X data provider) and enter your username and password again **.
Done! 🕺🏻 Time to close the Metricool tab.
In a new tab open https://www.twitter.com/ and log out.
Repeat this process with the rest of the accounts you want to connect.
📌Once you have installed new X profiles in Welov, you must wait until the next day to extract data or generate reports.
** If when redirected to Metricool you get this message: "Wait a moment!
There is no application token for this page. It's the special token we ask for from apps that want to use your Twitter account. Please go back to the site or app that sent you here and try again; it was probably just an error". Try the following:
Go back to Installed Applications
Right click on the Connect button in Metricool
Open window in incognito mode
Enter account credentials (make sure you are not logged in to any X account)
🚦The red button is still there. Stay calm! Metricool updates the status of the connections every hour on the hour (for example, at 4pm). You will see them in Installed Applications. If you connect your X (Twitter) accounts with Metricool at 15:30, you will not see their status updated until after 16:00.
