📌 In Welov, you can connect brand or fan pages with or without credentials.

You can only link a Facebook account to Welov if you have a “Fan Page.” Personal profiles cannot be installed to third-party tools because of limitations of the Meta API (which is where we get the data).

To connect a Facebook Fan Page, your profile must have admin access. Find this info on the Facebook page under "Manage page," then "Settings," then "Page roles."

If you are an admin and the Fan Page does not appear in the connection dropdown, you need to confirm that Welov has sufficient permissions to access the statistics. Here's what you need to do:

🚦Two-step authentication: log in to your personal Facebook account with which you are an administrator of the Fan Page you want to install > Access the Security & Login settings > Locate “Use two-step authentication” and click Edit > Choose the security method you want to add and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you're not an admin, ask someone to link your Fan Page on Welov or assign you admin rights. Go to the Fan Page and click Page Settings > Page Roles. Enter the email of the user you want to add, choose administrator, and click Add.

Once you've connected your account, you'll see data based on your Welov plan, up to two years worth.

Please note that metrics related to Followers, Check-ins, People talking about this, and ERs that include any of the aforementioned metrics will only be visible from the day of connection to Welov onwards.

If you've installed a Fan Page with credentials, you can access both the total data (org+paid) and the breakdown of organic and paid.

🚦Due to API limitations, the interactions of Facebook's own accounts (Interactions, Reactions, Comments, Shares and Clicks) cannot be broken down into organic and promoted. Only the total data is available.
